British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
